What were The Baals, or Baalim, of Ancient Babylon... and, why are they so troubling for Israel today?

The original Old Testament Scriptures.

Contrary to popular opinion, the study of Old Testament Scripture is still highly-important to modern day believers. If : " Those who are ignorant of Secular History are doomed to repeat it "; then how much more so, those who are even more ignorant of Spiritual Matters? After all, even less conscious thought is directed toward one's own religion than politics - believe it, or not... and, such has been the case regarding numerous spiritual matters! Case in point, consider The Ba'als [ or Ba'alim ] of: " Spiritual Babylon.... "

According to Our Secular Dictionaries, we can read The Following Definition(s):

Ba'al n., pl. Ba'alim ( -im ), Ba'als [ LL. < Hebrew Ba'al ]:

" 1. Among The Ancient Semitic Peoples [ of: Babylon, Sumer, Chaldea, and Assyria ], originally, any number of Local Fertility and Sun Gods;  

  2. The Chief God Of Babylon - specifically the pagan god, which bears The Official Title Of: ' The Lord ', ' The Master ', or ' The Grand Architect ' - within The Babylonian Hierarchy [ or, Pantheon ] of Sun Gods.

            3. A false god; or idol. "


But, what do these secular definitions regarding: " The Ba'als " - really tell us? What do: Fertility and Sun Gods - have to do with Our Modern Day Spiritual Era? So what, if The Ancient Semitic Peoples [ also ] referred to their own pagan deity as: " The Lord "? We, ourselves, know who ' The Lord ' truly is... don't we? And there are very few of us, indeed, who actually worship: False Gods, or Man-Made Idols. So, what's The Real Problem?

The Immoral Woman of Proverbs Chapter 7 is none other, than ' The Mother Of Harlots '.

The ' Immoral Woman ', or: "Mother Of Harlots."

In Proverbs Chapter 7, we read about: " The Immoral Woman ", " The Seductress ", " The Whore ", and/or " The Crafty Harlot " - of Spiritual Babylon. While The Scripture has described her with many different names and spiritual metaphors, The Mother Of Harlots is ' A False Religious System ', whose: Houses Of Worship and False Teachings - span the entire globe.

The Mother Of Harlots has continually existed - in somewhat different forms - since the beginning of time... but, the fundamental: Symbols, Teachings, and Spiritual Tactics of that ' Immoral Woman [ or, Fallen Church ]' are remarkably consistent overall. Thus, what was written by King Solomon - over 3000 years ago - is equally true of The Seductress today. 

In Proverbs 7:1-5, We Read ' His Admonition ':

" My son [ My Child ], keep my words [ Pay Attention and Listen To Them ], And treasure my commands within you [ Incorporate Them Into Your Heart ].

Keep my commands and live [ Follow My Instructions To Avoid The Second Death ], And my law as the apple of your eye [ Rightly Discern Their True Value ].

Bind them upon your fingers [ Set Your Hands Toward Doing Them ]; Write them upon the tablet of your heart [ And Think Upon Them Continually ].

Say to wisdom, ' You are my sister, ' And call understanding your nearest kin [ Trust In The Truths That I Give To You ], That they may keep you from The Immoral Woman [ The Ungodly Church ], and from The Seductress [ That Spiritual Deceiver ] who flatters with Her Words [ Warping And Twisting You, Through Her Own Comfortable Logic ]. " - Proverbs 7:1-5.

Who are the Evil Shepherds, False Prophets, and Empty Oracles of Jeremiah chapter 23

In Jeremiah Chapter 23, Yahweh has provided ' An Important Message ' to the Evil Shepherds, False Prophets, and Empty Oracles of: " Spiritual Babylon ". It was written thousands of years ago, and has waited long for this day to come. But, there is a time and a season for everything... and, now, the day for this message has finally arrived. As it says, in Jeremiah 23:20, " In The Latter Days you will understand it perfectly. " Thus, I draw your attention to his message....

Jeremiah Chapter 23, Begins:

" ' Woe to The Shepherds [ The Reverends, Ministers, and Pastors ] who destroy [ corrupt ] and scatter [ confuse ] the sheep of My pasture! ' says The Mighty One.

Therefore, thus says Yahweh The Mighty One of Israel against The Shepherds who feed My people: ' You have scattered My Flock [ by teaching them falsehoods ], driven them away [ by telling them lies ], and not attended to them [ but sought your own desires instead ]. Behold, I will attend to you for the evil of your doings [ your judgment is now coming ], says The Mighty One.

But I will gather The Remnant Of My Flock out of all countries where I have driven them, and bring them back to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. I will set [ new ] shepherds over them [ ones of My own choosing ] who will feed them [ provide them with All Of My Truth ]; and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, nor shall they be lacking ', says The Mighty One. " - Jeremiah 23:1-4.

It's very important that we understand precisely who Yahweh is talking to. These aren't the leaders within humanity's numerous other religions. These are the leaders within: Christianity and Judaism. It's, Yahweh's sheep... it's, Yahweh's pasture... and it's, Yahweh's flock. The ' Spirit Of Antichrist ' comes from within Our Own Churches and Synagogues! My friends, these organizations are: " Spiritual Babylon... "; those: Evil Shepherds, False Prophets, and Empty Oracles - are within them; and that's why everyone is suffering. Just, think about it....
